What’s in Your Elderberry Kit

Each kit comes with:

  • Organic dried elderberries
  • A warm blend of spices (like organic cinnamon, organic cloves, and organic ginger)
  • A brew bag to keep things mess-free 🙌
  • Instructions for easy prep

You’ll just need:

  • 4.5 cups of water
  • 1 cup of raw honey (or maple syrup for babies under 1 year)
  • A saucepan, strainer (optional), spatula and jar

How to Make Your Syrup

  1. Prep with Your Brew Bag

    • Place all the elderberries and spices into the included brew bag.
    • This keeps everything contained while it simmers, no messy straining later!

  2. Simmer the Berries & Spices

    • Add the brew bag to your saucepan.
    • Pour in 4.5 cups of water.
    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, until the liquid has reduced by nearly half.

  3. Remove the Brew Bag

    • Carefully lift out the bag, pressing it with a spoon to release all the good stuff.

    • No strainer required (but I personally use this to make things a little easier) your syrup is already smooth and ready for honey!

  4. Sweeten

    • Let the liquid cool until it's just warm (not hot!).
    • Stir in 1 cup of raw honey until well combined.

  5. Store

    • Pour into a glass jar with a lid and refrigerate.
    • Your syrup will last up to 3 months in the fridge.

  6. How to Use Your Elderberry Syrup
  • Adults: 1 tablespoon daily
  • Kids: 1 teaspoon daily
  • At the first sign of seasonal sniffles, you can take the same amount every 2–3 hours until you’re feeling better.

Tips for Success

✨ Shake before each use (honey likes to settle at the bottom).
✨ You can freeze extra syrup in ice cube trays for longer storage.
✨ Try adding a spoonful to sparkling water or tea for a tasty immune-boosting drink!

Our Elderberry Kits with the included brew bag were designed to make staying well simple, natural, and family-friendly.
